Prefabricated Boathouse by Andersson Wise Architects

This amazing lake house is ideal for people, who love boating. The beautiful prefabricated boathouse was created by Andersson Wise Architects. It is situated on Lake Austin. From the main residence there is a cable-stay suspension bridge 200 feet long, which crosses a deep ravine. The bridge is rather convenient and does not spoil the picturesque scenery.

At the upper level of this getaway on the shore of the lake has a two-story prefab wood and steel structure. It also has a rowing scull, jet ski slip, covered boat slip, outdoor shower with a screened and open space outdoor room on the second floor. The room is facing the water and it is open-air, because of the convertible screens.

Part of the wood siding extends to create a shelf in window for a lantern. Screened panels are held in open position by wooden rods, easy to maintain and use.

Concrete panels protect from wind and create an enclosure place for a grill.

A section above the ravine illustrates the narrow suspension footbridge approach to the boathouse.
